Factors i would consider when buying a pc or laptop for this course
I would deffinately consider the following factors when buying a computer for my course:
Power Consumption: As i would most likely use a laptop on the go, the amount of battery time is an important point to consider. The battery should last at least 3-4 hours.
Internet:I would definately need to get the internet for my laptop or pc, so i would need to look into different internet packages when buying it.
Price: As a college student, the price is important. The price of laptops range from a few hundred to thousands of euro. I would think about buying a laptop for about 600 euro. I may be able to get one cheaper but if i spent a couple of hundred more on it then i would know for sure that it will last me a longer time.
Durability: If i plan to take my laptop with me to and from college i would need to consider a model with shock-resistant hard drive mounts, so that it would not get damaged.
Security: This is an important thing to consider. If my computer developed a virus, it would attack my computer and my files may be destroyed. I woould need to think about getting an antivirus protection such as norton.

I was in New York last week and i couldnt believe how big everything is there! I walked around all weekend looking up at all the buildings looming over me, Thank god i didnt bump into anything! Even portions of food in restaurants are enormous. It's just completely different to Dublin! New Yorkers must think "Where is everything else" when they come over here!

What is happening to XFactor?

Is XFactor about singing talent or about ridiculous performances?! Since John and Edward managed to get into XFactor, it has completely changed the show. Their awful performances of Ghostbusters, Ricky Martins song She Bangs and Oops i did it again, got them voted to stay in the competition week after week. Though they were very amusing, they could not sing. They would be perfect for pantomine but not for singing competitions! People with talent such as Lucy Jones were voted out because they were left in. Thank God they are finally gone!
Is Christmas being 'advertised' too early every year?
I hate when shops and supermarkets put up christmas decorations and start playing christmas music the day after halloween!! They do it every year and its way to early! Dont get me wrong, i love christmas and the celebrations coming up to it but shop should wait until at least the end of November to start playing christmas carols! I fell so sorry for people working in supermarkets who have to listen to the same carols over and over again! It must do their heads in!
